Your questions
And no worries -- if you enjoy the flexibility of buying lessons on the fly, you can still do that, too. No changes there. Happy subscribing!
The cost
- For $125/monthly you’ll get one 30-minute lesson per week. This breaks down to about $31.25* per lesson & is the cheapest option for most families
- If you take more than one lesson per week or have multiple students in your family, you can choose a $240/monthly package. That’s $30* per lesson. This is two 30-minute lessons weekly or one 60-minute lesson weekly.
- And if you have a family full of musicians, you can do three lessons person week at $345/monthly. That’s $28.75* per lesson.
The why
- We’ve had multiple requests for subscription packages to make paying easier. So this is exciting! One price, a recurring payment, and you don’t have to worry about keeping track.
- We wanted to reward our loyal customers and supporters by trying to keep the lesson prices low and ALSO make it more convenient.
- Guilt-free stay-at-home vacations and lazy days! Subscribing to the Coop offers an easy way to support the Music Coop throughout the year. Remember that every missed lesson counts as a tax deductible donation!
- For us, this subscription fulfills some of our personal goals - revenue we can reliably track and less (digital) paperwork!
Your questions
- How does it work? You'll hit the button above, put your card on file, and be automatically charged each month. No need to do anything else.
- What happens if I miss a lesson? Like before, if you miss a lesson and let us know 24 hours in advance, you can reschedule with your instructor. If you cancel and can't reschedule, (like for a vacation or birthday party), your cancelled lesson will be banked and added to your tax-deductible donation at the end of the year.
- What about holidays or instructor absences? We’ll bank those lessons for you and check them off as a tax-deductible donation for you. We’ll give you the tax receipt at the end of the year.
- OK, but what if the instructor misses a lot? (Which we hope will never happen!) If an instructor misses 2 lessons in a month or 5 lessons in a year, we’ll refund those lessons upon request, no questions asked. (Not counting our store holidays, which you’ll know in advance.)
- Is it pronounced COOP or co-op? It’s coop, like a chicken coop. But we’ll answer to anything.
